| Bimini is approximately 50 miles east of
Miami. Catch a flight to Miami or Fort Lauderdale, then fly to Bimini. How do I get to Bimini? Island Air flies out of the Fort Lauderdale Jet Centre (located at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport) "Customs West" at 1050 Lee Wagener Blvd. Call them at 800-444-9904 or 954-359-9942 Continental Express flies out of Fort Lauderdale What do I need to enter The Bahamas? US Citizens, Resident Aliens, and Canadian Citizens do not require visas but should carry a valid passport or other proof of citizenship. Beginning in 2007 a passport will be required. British Commonwealth citizens (except for Canadians mentioned above) require valid passports for entry into The Bahamas but not visas. There you'll find miles of deserted beaches to enjoy |
